I am an emotive, natural, and timeless child and family photographer that believes the most important job I have when photographing your family is to capture feeling.
When I look at my little girl's fine baby hair, sweaty toddler cheeks, and chubby little thighs (all the while she is baiting my husband for another piece of candy with that irresistible smirk). I think to myself that this is the real stuff I want to remember. The stuff I need to remember.
So, that's what I capture. Real moments---peppered in with a few good “look at the camera and smile” shots too. And you may walk away from our session wondering why it wasn't super posed, and you'll maybe feel like you were just hanging out with all the people you love (with a little paparazzi!). We DID end up naming all our kids with "B" names because we thought it would be fun - and it ended up being awesomely hilarious. A snapshot into my life
Since we are kind of friends now, I will be really honest. You want the truth? I never really saw my life as revolving around my kids. I was a go-getter, achiever, big-dreamer. And all of those "accomplishments" didn't really involve a bunch of dirty dishes, laundry, and sleeping with my toddler in a race-car-mini-bed.
While my husband was in graduate school we (unexpectedly) found ourselves expecting our first kiddo. I have NEVER been so thankful to have been proven wrong. I am completely and whole heartedly a "kid person". My family is my most prized possession and my most proud accomplishment. Now, every goal I set for myself feels extra special because I know I have kids looking up to me and rooting me on to be the very best version of myself. Motherhood is such a wild ride. And I am here for all of it!

My Favorite Things
Play-doh, popsicle sticks, hot glue guns, resin, dress sewing, tie dye, art carts, box forts, bunk bed building, furniture design, sanding, painting... gosh you name it, I am game for it! If I have free time, I am giving my husband a mild heart attack with all my new, amazing ideas ;).
Crafts & Projects
You can almost always find us in the pool, chasing the kids on scooters, fishing, playing tennis, or working out. Our kids have ENERGY (seriously, next-level, "we are begging you to please watch a show so we can rest for 5 minutes", kind of energy!). Both Ben and I have a huge passion for sports and outdoors, so we are thrilled our kiddos feel the same way!
